Formed in 2006, this trio of Detroit-based musicians was notable not only for winning the ~Detroit News battle of the bands in 2007, but that they did it at the ages of 13 and 14. The band gained initial notoriety by opening up for numerous Detroit bands at various venues. Members Scott Ryan, 13, Brandon Mallon, 14, and Andrew Hecker, 13, were assisted in the scene by the parents of Hecker, whose mother founded Punk Fitness and whose father played bass in local band the Orbitsuns.
