Biography

Debbie Hunseder and Stephanie Callahan are a couple of very talented guitarist, singers, and songwriters who make up the duo known simply as Halcyon. The two have been performing together since meeting at a party in 1989. As soon as the pair did one song together, they knew they had found the perfect harmony match. Halcyon has appeared at clubs across the United States, even performing on cruise ships, increasing its fan base year by year. In 1993 the duo released an independent debut album, I'm Naked and I'm Going to Paris. It was followed two years later by Slightly Confusing to Strangers. In 1998 Halcyon completed work on a third album, Two Bars Short of a Hit. Hunseder and Callahan released a forth recording for 2000, Separately Together. That last title seems fitting, since the duo doesn't write together. They each contribute their own individual songs to the albums.
